Another cold day here in NYC. The Sun is shining but there are still lots of dark clouds surrounding the Empire State Building. The colors for the lights tonight are orange and white for the Food Bank.

Great quote! Society has taught us not to display our finer qualities if it appears as if we would be bragging. Because of the personal conflicts we face both internally and externally, sometimes we deprive ourselves from absorbing all the happiness life has to offer. In the 1990 , we used to say "lighten-up". I think we need to start saying it again. Life is too short not to take advantage of all the wonderful things it has to offer including the love of a friend.
