Diantie's Daily Quote - "Follow your bliss ..."

Today is the one year anniversary for my quotes blog. I did it. Yes, indeed it was a challenge. For me, writing a quote everyday required discipline and dedication. I stumble upon many quotes and I tried to find ones that were positive and at times, a little different from the norm. Today's quote is "Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls." Author Joseph Campbell. This is so true and what a way to end my one year challenge. The universe has open doors for me and I am truly thankful. I had plans of starting another blog but I am not quite ready for it. Hopefully within the next few months, I will up and ready for that challenge. So what do I do tomorrow? The same thing I did today! Get up and write my quote for the day but I may add a little twist to it.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "A good listener..."

Sunshine a little bit; not to cold; but otherwise OK weather here in NYC. Weather prediction for Monday is 80+ degrees. Are we ready for this? Maybe, maybe not? Today's quote is "A good listener is not only popular everywhere, but after a while, he knows something." Author Wilson Mizner. I support the "good listener". It is amazing what you hear when you take the time to let other people do the talking. I have made many good decisions just by listening to what others were saying.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "Good judgment comes..."

A little overcast and maybe rain later. At least it is not freezing. Today's quote is "Good judgment comes from experience, and often experience comes from bad judgment." Author Rita Mae Brown. I agree with the first part of the quote. Experience may not necessarily come from bad judgment.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "One never knows..."

Sunshine and no rain as yet. Don't know if it will rain but the forecast has predicted rain all week. Today's quote is "One never knows what each day is going to bring. The important thing is to be open and ready for it." Henry Moore. Yes, very true. We do not have a Crystal ball but at the same time it is nice to be open and ready to take on what the day has to offer.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "You learn a..."

Raining here and there is what the weather is like herein NYC. I have to say that it felt nice to feel the wind blowing on my skin. Today's quote is "You learn a lot about people when you play games with them." Author Laura Moncur. Yes, this is so true. Sometimes you learn good things about them and other times you see the bad side to them. which ever side you see, it generally forms an impression as to how you deal with the person in the future.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "I never think..."

Yes, it is another sunshine day here in New York City. Too bad I was locked in doors and did not get to be outside to enjoy it. Today's quote is "I never think of the future, it comes soon enough." Author Albert Einstein. Good for you for not thinking of the future. Some of us like to make plans for the future and look forward to it. It is a nice feeling to plan for the future.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "Win hearts and ...

Nice sunshine but a little chill is what the weather is like her in New York City. I took a drive up to the Bronx and ended up by Yankee Stadium while looking for the highway back home. Today's quote is "Win hearts, and you have all men's hands and purses." Author William Cecil Burleigh. It is nice to know you have won some one's heart. Yes, when you, you do have some control in asking for things.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "The soul is ..."

What a nice day it turned out to be. Nice sunshine but still a little chill. I took that trip into NYC to have brunch which was nice and also good conversation too. Today's quote is "The soul is the voice of the body's interest." Author George Santayana. Agreed!

Diantie's Daily Quote - "Everything has been...'

Rain and more rain and I even got splashed by a car. Yes, I was angry since the coat just came from the cleaners. Today's quote is "Everything has been figured out, except how to live." Author Jean-Paul Sartre. Maybe we should stop and take some time to smell the roses. It is amazing how the little things we take for granted are the very things that gives us pleasure. I am counting down to my one year aniversary of writing this blog. Eight more postings to go and I would have achieved my goal of writing a quote everyday for a year. My next project is in the works but I am not quite ready to take it live.
