Blobs of clouds passing over the Empire State Building is what I see as I look up at the sky. There is sunshine too! What a change from the dreary days we had for the past month. The colors for the lights tonight will be green and yellow in honor of the Green Bay Packers, winners of the Superbowl. I take it that the Packers was the team with the most will to win so now it claims bragging rights. I actually watched part of the game and it was a good one.
Today's quote is "And now, this is the sweetest and most glorious day that ever my eyes did see. Author Donald Cargill.
Yes, today is a glorious day for me. I made a firm decision and I'm OK with that!

Diantie's Daily Quote - "Winning isn't everything..."
Sunshine, cold, no snow and no rain here is NY; the rest of country? Clueless! The colors for the lights on the Empire State Building tonight will again be yellow, green and black for the Steelers and Packers.
Today's quote is "Winning isn't everything, but the will to win is everything." Author Vince Lombardi.
By co-incidence I picked this quote to write about today. Vince Lombardi was the coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960s. Today the Packers will be playing in the Superbowl. Although, I did not pick a side to win, it is evident the team with the most will to win may very well win.
I too have a will to win and I am going for it too!

Diantie's Daily Quote - "The greatest danger...
Rain and a little cold is what I experienced when I ventured out today. The colors for the lights tonight on the Empire State Building will be green, yellow and black. Yes, these are the combined color for the Packers and Steeler. I did not pick a team for the Super Bowl but maybe I catch a few minutes of the game.
Today's quote is "The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but rather it's too low and we reach it." Author Michelangelo
OK entrepreneurs out there, what is your take on this? We want those aims that are high and yes, we will not feel challenged if we set small goals.

Diantie's Daily Quotes - "What is called..."
Sunshine, grey skies but at least it is not dreary. The colors for the lights on the Empire State Building tonight will be blue and orange for the American Cancer Society's World Cancer Day. I volunteer for this organization.
Today's quote is "What is called genius is the abundance of life and health." Author Henry David Thoreau.
OK, taking that to be true, then only a few of us fit that bill. Actually, I think we should all strive for this.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "If you want..."
Sunshine and very cold here in NYC. Blue skies and full sighting of the Empire State Building. The colors for the lights tonight will be red and yellow.
Today's quote is "If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to happy, practice compassion." Author Dalai Lama.

Compassion is a great quality in everyone and we should all use it more often. Yes, sometimes it leads to happiness.
I have made 301 postings to this blog. Wow! Dedication and determination is winning here!Wednesday, February 2, 2011
Diantie's Daily Quote - "We forfeit three-...."
It is raining here in NYC and icy too. It is winter and we all have to face what nature is serving up to us. Another day with no sighting of the Empire State Building. The colors for the lights tonight will be red and yellow for lunar year.
Today's quote is "We forfeit three-fourths of ourselves in order to be like other people." Author Arthur Schopenhauer.
While there maybe some truth to this, I say spend your time being your yourself. Don't waste your time being a replica of someone else. Self improvement is good and I say go for it!

Diantie's Daily Quote - "Nothing is impossible..."
Rain, snow, whatever else the weather is serving up, I say bring it on. There is no sighting of the Empire State Building. The colors for the lights tonight will be orange and white for Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Great cause!
Today's quote is "Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm possible." Author Audrey Hepburn.
Love it! I do problem solving and analysis as well as other things. Many times when I hear it can't be done, I know that with enough effort and trial and error, there is a way. I recently read that Thomas Edison tried two thousand times or more to perfect the light bulb until he finally did it.
Entrepreneurs, are you listening?
