Great quote! Society has taught us not to display our finer qualities if it appears as if we would be bragging. Because of the personal conflicts we face both internally and externally, sometimes we deprive ourselves from absorbing all the happiness life has to offer. In the 1990 , we used to say "lighten-up". I think we need to start saying it again. Life is too short not to take advantage of all the wonderful things it has to offer including the love of a friend.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "I look forward ..."

Is it too early for snow flurries? I think so! I am not ready for cold weather and all the bundling up required when I step out the door. Luckily for me, I was able to quickly locate my hat, gloves and scarf. Dark clouds surround the Empire State Building and the colors for the lights tonight are still blue and white.

It is interesting I found this quote. A few weeks ago I will talking to my friends and family about this. We were discussing teeth. I told them that I did not care if I was missing a tooth or two when I am 70 years old as this is what is expected at that age. It is good to see my female support system out there have similar thoughts too. Most of us plan to age gracefully and embrace what life has to offer us in our old age.

The day is almost over and now I sit down to write this blog. I went out earlier to take care of a few errands and do some shopping and came home feeling a little ill. The motivator that I am is not quiting so here I am fulfilling my word to this blog. Write one everyday for a year. I am almost at that point with four more months to go.

I like this quote. As I have said before in my postings, you are responsible for your own happiness. Look inside your soul for peace with yourself and look for happiness too.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "A good decision..."

The weekend is here and there are always lots of things to get done. I may stop by the cleaners and drop off some clothes for cleaning. Then it will be off to the mall to do some shopping and finally the usual stop at the supermarket to pick up the groceries. My nephews came over and I was just watching Big Comfy Couch on You Tube with them.

I agree. You need knowledge about an issue to make a good decision. Numbers are important but it is only one ingredient in the decision making process.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "The older I get..."

Back on track today. The skies are lined with what I call wallpaper clouds which are surrounding the majestic Empire State Building. The color for the lights tonight through Monday are blue and white. How can I forget already? It was a cold morning and I did not wear a winter coat. Yes, I will be needing a ride home tonight as I don't plan to be super woman and brave the cold in what I am wearing.

Aged to perfection comes to my mind when I think about this quote. I've lost that youthful look but I am very optimistic about my old age. I plan to keep looking good!

The day has slipped right by and there are still lots of things to get done. Guess what? I can actually see the Empire State Building lighted up and the colors are blue and white. It is a cold day but the Sun was out there. I had the pleasure of meeting up with some acquaintances for lunch and it was an enjoyable one.

Victoria, I could not say it better. Women help women. We are naturally compassionate and supportive. Lots more to tell about this subject later.

Diantie's Daily Quote - "I think the key..."

It's raining here in NYC and there is no sighting of the Empire State Building from where I am sitting. Hopefully, the rain will stop later so that when the Empire State Building is lighted tonight in Red, we can all see it is for World AIDS day.

As of today, my limit is going to the Moon. I used to kid around with one of my friends about going to the Moon. If I set this as a goal, chances are, I can make it a reality then everything else happening in my life will appear as "a piece of cake". Life is not that easy but there is nothing wrong with trying.
